DeLibrarie (Del) Review:
I had a really hard time actually rating this book from 1 to 5. It is a really entertaining book and every time I picked it up to read, I found it really difficult to put back down, but I was never really excited to pick it up again. It is a long book... it's well over 400 pages and I felt like the first 300 were anti-climactic and a lot of entertaining but useless scenes when it came to actually moving the story along. The biggest issue that I had with this book was the love story between Jax and Sasha. I read A LOT of paranormal romance books... so I have pretty high standards when it comes to the romance part of that genre. Jax was some strange mix between Patch's (Hush,Hush) bad boy, rebel without a cause nature and Daniel's (Fallen) self- righteous savior complex... it got to be a bit confusing because the two types are basically opposites. I had more of a problem with Sasha though, it seemed like one second she wanted to be with Jax for ever and the next she never wanted to see his face again... which is fine... but usually there is some sort of filler scene that gives some sort of explanation or insight into the sudden change of heart. I felt like her constant mood swings in regards to her feelings for Jax were a little hard to follow and eventually I just wanted to smack her.  :) Overall, It was a good read. Not amazing but definitely not bad. Solid 3.5 stars... so we'll round up to 4.

Great review. Don't you just hate when you run into one of those books that seems difficult to rate?
I see that you are reading Hallowed. I recently read/reviewed it myself and am looking forward to hearing what you think of it.
