DeLibrarie (Del) Review:
I am madly, deeply, passionately in love with this series. Unearthly was suspenseful and beautiful... and Hallowed is no different. Hand does a fantastic job of pacing her books... they are never boring and with Hallowed in particular, there was never a moment where I even considered putting the book down... it went with me to class, to dinner, to bed and even to the bathtub. I don't even really have anything negative to say about it... I seriously recommend this book to everyone. "Hey you, random man in the alley... Have you read this book?" This series is easily one of my favorite of all time. Right up there with Gemma Doyle, Fallen, and Hush, Hush. I love everything about it.

DeLibrarie (Del) Review:
I had a really hard time actually rating this book from 1 to 5. It is a really entertaining book and every time I picked it up to read, I found it really difficult to put back down, but I was never really excited to pick it up again. It is a long book... it's well over 400 pages and I felt like the first 300 were anti-climactic and a lot of entertaining but useless scenes when it came to actually moving the story along. The biggest issue that I had with this book was the love story between Jax and Sasha. I read A LOT of paranormal romance books... so I have pretty high standards when it comes to the romance part of that genre. Jax was some strange mix between Patch's (Hush,Hush) bad boy, rebel without a cause nature and Daniel's (Fallen) self- righteous savior complex... it got to be a bit confusing because the two types are basically opposites. I had more of a problem with Sasha though, it seemed like one second she wanted to be with Jax for ever and the next she never wanted to see his face again... which is fine... but usually there is some sort of filler scene that gives some sort of explanation or insight into the sudden change of heart. I felt like her constant mood swings in regards to her feelings for Jax were a little hard to follow and eventually I just wanted to smack her.  :) Overall, It was a good read. Not amazing but definitely not bad. Solid 3.5 stars... so we'll round up to 4.

The Time Will Come

I am fully aware at how bad we suck. We haven't posted anything in almost a month... sorry! Classes started and I've been reading and reading and reading... but nothing that I can really blog about. I'm reading Romeo and Juliet (again) for my Shakespeare class, and Rag and Bone Shop for my YA lit class... but later in the semester I'll have an actual excuse to read... my YA lit class requires me to read like 7 YA books of my choice... (happy dance).

On another note... It's my Birthday!!! For my birthday, I decided to buy myself Hallowed by Cynthia Hand. :) I'm crazy excited to start reading it once I finish The Mephisto Covenant. Also... I woke up this morning and walked out into my kitchen and there was my wonderful boyfriend making me blueberry pancakes, eggs, bacon and a fresh cup of coffee. :) I was sooo surprised, and it's nearly impossible to surprise me. I've had a wonderful morning thus far. :)

Now since we haven't posted anything in a while.... and it's "Time Will Come" monday on DeLibrarie today.... I think I'll actually post on of those.

Time Will Come is a weekly meme hosted by Books For Company. How do you do it? Walk over to your bookshelf(ves), stare at it, pick one of the many that are gathering dust.

This week I chose:
THE NEAR WITCH BY VICTORIA SCHWAB

I chose this book because I've heard AMAZING things about it, Nic LOVES this book. I have an ARC copy of it that I haven't read yet and it's not for lack of want.

So that's all I have for you today... Have a great My Birthday Day. ;)
